The Mulliner division will be celebrating Bentley's 100th Anniversary next year with the release of a Mulsanne special edition. It pays homage to the company's founder, W.O. Bentley includes a part from one of his cars.
The special model available on a long-wheelbase or regular-wheelbase Mulsanne or Mulsanne Speed was influenced by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley that W.O. used as his personal car. The influence of the car can be seen in the cabin. For instance the Mulliner illuminated bar cabinet features the display of a piece of the 8 Litre crankshaft displayed inside.
bentley smart key .O. is emblazoned in an air vent in the shape of a B on the chrome application across the back of the vehicle. The front grille is designed after 1930s-appropriate Onyx and there's also an optional chrome application around the lower spoilers on the left and right. The front grille also has a unique design, with an aluminum shell that replaces the body-color mesh of the Mulsanne. It also features the Flying B Logo.
A keybox engraved with the Bentley wings can hold two keys and is adorned with black flock lining, while individual key pouches are also available to match or contrast with the key box. The set is also commemorative, and includes a bespoke 1:18 scale model of the 8 Litre and a flying 'B' paperweight, plus a printed brochure featuring never-before-seen images of the original 1930s 8 Litre.
